Card Making

I haven't felt good the past several days, just dealing with a bad cold. So I decided to "sit" and do something that I enjoy. Some of you know that I love to scrapbook. Doesn't seem like I get to do it much these days. Anyway, I tried my hand at card making, and finished these up today. They are Valentine Card/invitations. I really had fun and I was real happy with the way they turned out. I love Valentines' day anyway, and this was a good excuse to try my hand at something a little different. (If you click on the picture it will enlarge it and you can see the detail much better.)

How very beautiful. I definitely do not have creativity of that kind.

Maybe because I'm not creative but I don't think if I was able to come up with something so pretty I could ever bear to give it away! "-) Very, very nice.

Beautiful cards! You are very creative! I also enjoyed the birthday pictures of your handsome 6 year old man! Sounded like he had a fun day of celebration! Hope that you all are doing well!

Those look great. I haven't really gotten into making cards, but I've got LOTS of supplies if I ever decide to do it! Do you have glitter glue, or was it embossing powder that you used?

Very, Very Nice. I made Cards from a kit I got in the mail one time and really liked them. Some of them I actually used on some scrapbook pages. I turned out nice. If you aren't planning on sending them out and you do Valentine scrap pages maybe you could try that?

You're amazing. I can vouch that these are beautiful. Fun to get to see the other designs.

Gorgeous! Where did you get your supplies? I have tried cardmaking and strangely enough, even though I think my scrap pages turn out okay, my cards always seem to be lacking.

Sara, I got the blank cards at Wal-mart, but the embelishments I got at Michael's.
